BEWEGTE SKULPTUREN

(2023)

Performances at LWL-Museum für Kunst und Kultur (Münster) as part of the exhibition "Nudes," a collaboration between LWL and the Tate Museum of London. December 2023

Sinopsis:

Bewegte Skulpturen is an interdisciplinary performance project by the artists Banse, Brautmeier and Drahmann, in which female identities are dismantled in a dialog between the digital and the analog in order to subsequently reinvent them through dance performance.

Who are we and who do we want to be beyond traditional values and established gender roles? What opportunities does digitalization offer to reject culturally shaped identity assignments and discover our own selves?
